| While we were on a holiday in the Greek Islands the air supported structure that protected the boat from the elemnts blew away. (It was old and over time the sun had damaged the fabric) |
| Needing something in a hurry we bought a ready made (in China) shelter like the one below. |

| 10 Feet of roof were added and 8 foot legs were attached to the up rights |

| We used the fork lift to hold it in place in the wind |

| Six people took three legs on each side and "walked" it into position over the boat |

| Once in place, the sides were added and held in place by a sandwich of 1 X 4 fir |

Some neighbours took bets on how soon it would blow away.. ..however it is still in place after many storms and one heavy snow fall. The key to keeping it secure is 45 gallon drums filled with water at each corner. The drums sit on the wood plates that the uprights are attached to. Diagonal rigging made from clothesline wire and turnbuckles is attached to the drums. |
